Tomica Event Model | Subaru Sambar Curry Stand

They say Ramen is life and Noodles is something of a common delicacy in Asia notably in Japan, where there have been mobile vehicles of food trucks that offer this type of service. In reality you’ll see it in some parts of Asia, but it would be uncommon to find it as a mobile service in the Philippines.

Tomica has produced the Noodle Truck introducing it in 2008 in the main line and has been reused in other premium sub-brands. But this was also reproduced and re-branded as a Mobile Curry Stand as part of the Tomica Event Model, which was only available for in-store local promo events in Manila.

Food Trucks are no longer a novelty in Southeast Asia they are starting to become a common fixture to everyday life. This often becomes an interest translated in into collectible merchandise such as a diecast car and most of its aesthetics where it takes inspiration is based on the real world version, but most of it are made out of fiction.

Tomica | Mazda Roadster

Mazda MX-5 is a popular lightweight two-passenger roadster manufactured and marketed by Mazda with a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout.

The convertible is marketed as the Mazda Roadster or Eunos Roadster in Japan, and as the Mazda MX-5 Miata in North America, where it is widely known as the Miata.

Tomica has a produced its diecast version of the Mazda MX-5, and since it was released for Japanese market this car is better known as the Mazda Roadster.
