| “Cars & Coffee” is one of the automotive communities weekend gathering held every last Sunday of the month in Blackwood commercial centre. The event is held the morning at the parking lot.
This will be the last edition of “Cars & Coffee” for 2017 as the next one will be held for the last Sunday of January 2018. The cold mornings certainly didn’t dampen the pageantry car owners as they meet up with local enthusiast and minded individuals from all walks of life. |
Arriving at the venue the parking lot at Blackwood has become a car festival on its own. The crowd has been building up since 7 AM in the morning and traffic has already grown with car enthusiasts and random walk-in started turning up. It was challenging for most to find the right spot to park, but the only alternative is a few blocks from the venue itself as cars along the area as built a big group already.
Though the weather was not in agree it didn’t stop anyone to stop and see what Cars and Coffee has to offer as its last one for this year. Classic car owners cruise in like in a beauty pageant before finding their parking spot to share their stories how they acquired and restored their cherished hunk of metal.
Besides the classic there are also modern eye catching ones that rarely deserve the attention for any car aficionado. The monthly gatherings not only attract men but also women that some owned the best classic cars you’ll see in this event. There are also kids and their pet dog as the sometimes the main draw like the three-wheel bike that has found its crowd amidst the car attracting community.
It was a veritable morning fiesta and good place to capture some impressive photography for those into cars and making them portraits for personal consumption. This is also a place where like minded individuals meet up and have nice chats about their cars and what makes this event one of the places to go on a Sunday morning.
