The local car meet scene has been growing over the years in Metro Manila. It was almost eight years ago that this concept of a meet-up with car owners was unheard of. It’s not often happening back in the day, and it’s only an ‘exclusive club’ for most of the car owners who have the unique car cruising in the streets of the CBD. Usually, local car meets happen in the early morning, where “Coffee and Cars” type of hang out happening over a warm cuppa and just chopping it up with a fellow enthusiast near a supermarket car park, or just the area where cars can park for free. It never happens in that kind of stuff in the Philippines.

But this morning was something to just appreciate and snap a camera of the rad cars that have been parked in the tiny street of Esteban Street. If you’re been a morning person going about your Sunday in Makati City, then you might not have missed this part going to the Sunday Market. It was that unexpected moment when walking to this particular street and seeing different types of premium and luxury cars seemed surreal.

Before we usher the New Year and pop a champagne Any Given Reason has finally launched their magazine Sports Car Safari at the same time held the seventh edition of the Burger Meet to a large crowd at Penny’s Hill winery on a cloudy Saturday afternoon. The drive to McLaren Vale was a long one, but worth the engine roar of a VF2 Commodore Red Line edition, which was one of the bittersweet cars seen in the venue that has been a rousing success to the organizers and the Car Culture.

Jaf's The Last Cruise | Westfield Marion

Jaf’s the Last Cruise is a wild party of the car culture. The annual event is held at the parking lot of Westfield Tea Tree Plaze since its Boxing Day the mall is closed to the public. This event is open to check out the cars and the owner’s story. The event started at 4:30 PM letting them drive through the streets of Adelaide going to their last route at Westfield Marion, where we finally caught up with a huge crowd occupying the empty spaces on Holiday.

“Cars & Coffee” is one of the automotive communities weekend gathering held every last Sunday of the month in Blackwood commercial centre. The event is held the morning at the parking lot. This will be the last edition of “Cars & Coffee” for 2017 as the next one will be held for the last Sunday of January 2018. The cold mornings certainly didn’t dampen the pageantry car owners as they meet up with local enthusiast and minded individuals from all walks of life.
