Car Sightings | Corvette Stingray

There have been several variations and versions for the Chevrolet Corvette dating back to are first generation introduced in 1953. It was voted and widely known as "America's Sports Car." It has been an iconic brand whenever you are in the world you’ll easily spot one in the streets.

It was produced by Chevrolet more than 60 years of production and seven design generations—with GM confirming in early 2019 an eighth generation Corvette in a rear-mid-engine configuration. This one sighted inside the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell and it is the Corvette Stingray on display.

The Corvette Stingray variant was produced since 1969 to 1976 and 2014 to present. You can find a Stingray or Sting Ray as a convertible. For the 2019 edition you can find not the word “Stingray” nameplate but the shape of the animal that was named after it that can be found near the front wheel.

This Stingray on display at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell looks sleek and you can find the contours of this one to be impressive as all the previous Corvettes before. Even though there will be a new model for 2020 this one still hold up and will still get an attention for being a halo vehicle.

It was spotted at the far end of the shopping centre last Sunday on display at the pop-up Chevrolet showroom alongside another product. But this one gets the most attention for being iconic and uniquely familiar to everyone passing by.

If you haven’t seen a Corvette Stingray on the road or in a car show check out some of the images taken this past weekend below:

The Corvette Stingray is a masterpiece in design and technology being a variant of the seventh generation and still America’s Sports Car. You can only find this at the Chevrolet showroom and pop-up mall exhibits.
