| The start of the year could have been right with the announcement of its first motoring show for 2020 in the recent presscon that was announced to be “My Ride Expo Manila.” The event will be featuring a diverse group of super tuned cars as well as luxury vehicles. Besides that there will be motorcycles too that will banner the inaugural event happening a week from now.
My Ride Expo Manila is not just your average motoring exhibit it will also spotlight some of the best drivers from the Philippine scene that made their names through competition with the motorsport. Dubbed as the first annual International modified cars and bikes exhibition in the region, MY RIDE Expo Manila 2020, will be launched at the SMX Convention Center, MOA, Pasay City from 23rd – 25th of January 2020. A Press conference was held on January 8th at Black Olive Restaurant and Event Hall in Capitol Commons, which was attended by media personalities from TV, radio, and print which is also attended by social media bloggers. |
The panellists consisted of the country’s top motoring personalities like Des Buncio (Super bike Racer and 2018 Women Racing champion, Philippines), Ron Del Rosario (Veteran sports journalist and host of Aksyon Sport’s Auto Review), Angie King (Car Racer, Modifier and Owner of Car Porn Racing), Raul Roque (Managing Partner of Race-Chip, Pay App, Manila Auto salon Show, Krooberg and businessman in various trades in the Philippines), Gaby Dela Merced (Philippines Formula 3 Car driver and TV personality) along with the Managing Partners of Pinnaclemena Events Corporation – Jennefer Beduya and Diji Shujahi (the organizers of My Ride Expo Manila 2020, Dubai based company).

“My experience in car modifications might not be as extensive as Angie’s; I am coming more from a spectator’s side. Modifications for me are usually towards a functional standpoint due to racing and it’s nice to focus on the creative and aesthetic aspect of it this time. I grew up around my father’s car shop and I appreciate the beauty in all of it. I am excited to be part of the My Ride Expo Manila 2020 which promises a lot of firsts not just the way modified car competitions would be held, but also the prizes for the public,” said Gaby Dela Merced, who would be part of the Judging committee for the competition as well.
The organizers also announced Kevin Limjoco, owner and founder of C! Magazine is the third judge from the Philippines.
My Ride Expo is a ticketed event for just PHP 250.00 pesos and ticket holders from anywhere in the world stand the chance to win a total of 7M pesos worth of prizes that includes 5 cars, 5 bikes, 100 gadgets and much more.
