Movie Review | Ford v Ferrari

There are a lot to be said about Car Movies and the star of the film is of course a car. But for this one it is something more than just about the Ford GT-40. It is about how Ford Motor Company that ushered the Model-T became a force to be reckoned with that made them known in the motorsport. Biographical films give you a window what really happened behind the scenes most of it is for entertainment value. But the entirety of the film is the narrative in-between which defined the people behind them portrayed by these talented actors. Matt Damon and Christian Bale lead a cast that defining this film helmed by James Mangold (“The Wolverine”, “Logan”) that defined another underdog story going up against odds with themselves and in taking down Ferrari in the 1966 24 Hour Le Mans endurance race. It is an impressive film no doubt that you’ll ever see this type of genre could be also considered an underrated movie that is rarely appreciate by people who looks forward to action films or in general punch it up flicks with heavy drama.
